If you’d like to buy it, I’ll prioritise restoring it once you’ve paid a deposit, and it’ll be ready for collection or dispatch in around two weeks. The deposit is €100 and you’ll receive an invoice for the deposit. The balance is payable as soon as the bike is fully completed. You’ll receive photos and a video of your new bike.

They are waiting to be renovated and may be ready in 3 weeks, 3 months or later...

There are two categories of bicycles that need to be restored

Bicycles stored in Germany are usually available for delivery within 2–3 weeks, as this is the time required to fully restore them.

The bicycles marked with a small symbol in the colours of the French flag are held at my warehouse in France. These can also be reserved; the date on which they will be available for collection or dispatch will be specified.
Please note that these bicycles will not automatically be delivered to Germany on the specified date. This will only happen if they have been reserved in advance and a deposit has been paid.

Customisation of bicycles

Every bike you book can be customised to suit your preferences: you can choose the type and colour of the handlebar tape, the saddle and the cables yourself. It’s also possible to fit mudguards, for example.

A bicycle with a lovely colour gradient, in good condition. Perfect for everyday use. As the steel rims are too badly rusted, new rims in better condition will be fitted to the bike.

A Gitane bike in good condition that was originally fitted with aluminium mudguards that were bent. These will be replaced by silver-coloured plastic mudguards.

This legendary pink racing bike, made famous by Raymond Poulidor's successes in the Tour de France, is an original model with a Reynolds 531 frame and tubular tyres and is perfect for anyone who wants to take part in vintage racing bike meetings such as the Eroica. There are paint chips on the back of the frame and on one fork sleeve (see photos).

A bicycle in good condition with steel wheels.

A former small bicycle shop that built bespoke bicycles for its customers. This particular bike features a beautiful gradient paint finish, typical of handcrafted bikes, and is fitted with a mix of French and Japanese components. Very lightweight frame.

An entry-level Peugeot model in quite good condition. It was originally fitted with steel wheels, but is being restored and reassembled with aluminium wheels.

A perfect racing bike for the Eroica with its typical 70s colour. The black wheels, which are more modern than the bike itself, are replaced by wheels that better match the style of the bike.

Aluminium bicycle in good condition, fully equipped with Shimano RSX.

An entry-level Mercier model in good condition, featuring rare CLB1 brakes. The stickers are slightly damaged in places (see photos).

A top-of-the-range lightweight touring bike from the 1970s. Completely original and fitted with a Dynamopower dynamo mounted beneath the frame; the bike will be fitted with new Bluemels mudguards, which are in better condition than those currently fitted. Some superficial signs of rust on the frame.

This bike in its striking colour typical of the 90s is being completely overhauled and refitted with white mudguards. The tube under the saddle has some chipped paint, but overall the bike is in good condition and has all the original equipment.

Women’s/unisex bicycle, completely original and in very good condition, purchased from the first owner. With its mudguards, luggage rack and dynamo lights, this bicycle is perfect for everyday use.

A lovely bicycle from 1981 in immaculate condition, purchased from its original owner. With its mudguards and dynamo-powered lights, it’s the perfect bike for getting around quickly and in style.

A bicycle suitable for everyday use, fitted with lights, mudguards and a luggage rack. It is fitted with the rare CLB1 centre-pull brakes. Steel wheels.

The bicycle is in good condition and entirely original, with a rather rare dynamo front light. Steel wheels.

A lightweight touring bike from the 1970s with some paint chips on the frame. The original black Bluemels mudguards will be refitted to the bike.

A bicycle from the 1990s in very good condition and completely original, fitted with a Shimano derailleur with 3 x 7 gears.

A beautiful road bike in a stunning, eye-catching colour. It was originally fitted with tubed tyres, but the previous owner had fitted aluminium rims for clincher tyres. Perfect for taking part in events such as the Eroica.

A very nice Gitane bicycle, completely in original condition and equipped with dynamo lighting. With its Bluemels mudguards, this bike is perfect for stylish everyday use.

A road bike from the 1990s with a few scratches in the paintwork.

The bicycle is in very good condition and was purchased from its first owner. It has been fitted with mudguards, a luggage rack, and raised handlebars and a stem. These non-original parts will be replaced so that the bicycle regains its original appearance.

A bike for the daily commute to work. The steel wheels, crankset and handlebars are rusted. These parts will all be replaced with higher-quality aluminium ones.

Unisex bicycle in good condition and completely original. Steel bikes

A lightweight, attractive bike in vintage colours and perfectly equipped. According to some online research, the brand name ‘CSC Basty’ appears to be the name of a bike shop in Bordeaux that used to build bespoke bikes for its customers. The bike is in good condition.

A mid- to high-end bicycle in typical 1970s colours, fitted with a complete, top-of-the-range Simplex derailleur system. Perfect for taking part in events such as the Eroica.

The bike has several scratches on the frame, but is in good overall condition and completely original. Black vintage mudguards from Bluemels are fitted to the bike. It is fitted with an Ideale 80 leather saddle, which will be refurbished.

A bicycle from a small brand based in central France (Montluçon): this Gitane-based frame appears to have been customised by its previous owners using parts from various eras. The bicycle is currently being restored and will be fitted with a more cohesive set-up, as well as French parts from the late 1970s.

A bicycle from the 1970s, in its original condition throughout, with several areas of flaking paint and superficial rust, which will be treated and removed as far as possible.

A mid-range bike with Reynolds 531 tubing, fitted with a Stronglight crankset featuring three chainrings and matching Simplex rear derailleurs. Perfect for taking part in events such as the Eroica

A very lightweight Vitus 979 with a bonded aluminium frame. The rear wheel will be replaced with a better-fitting one. Components such as the rear derailleur and crankset will be replaced with a complete Shimano RX100 groupset.

Bike completely in original condition and in very good optical condition.

A lightweight sports bike, in its original condition throughout, with several superficial patches of rust on the frame. Can be fitted with mudguards.

The bike is in very good condition and quite well-equipped. Perfect for quick everyday rides.

A high-quality road bike for women or unisex from the Mercier catalogue, which was originally fitted with road handlebars. These handlebars will be refitted. A very lightweight bike that’s perfect for getting around quickly and in style.

Sporty ladies' bike with slight signs of rust on one of the fork bars. The bike is originally equipped with steel wheels, but will be converted to lighter aluminium wheels.

A bicycle with tubular tyres, which will be refitted with its original handlebars and new Mafac brake pads following restoration. There are several small areas of chipped paint in various places on the frame. Perfect for taking part in events such as the Eroica.

Vintage city bike with 3 gears, in its original condition throughout.

A completely original bicycle with steel wheels and dynamo-powered lights.

An entry-level bike in perfect condition and fully equipped for everyday use. Talbot was a sister brand of Peugeot that existed for a number of years.

A bicycle in a lovely candy red. There are several small chips in the paintwork on the frame. The Shimano rear derailleur, which is far too modern, will be replaced with one that is more suited to this bicycle.

A bicycle from the 1980s with Vitus 999 tubes, in its original condition throughout. Original colour. The top tube has some scratches.

This bicycle is fitted with an original Soubitez dynamo light. The bicycle has some rust and a few scratches, but is entirely original.

The bicycle is in good condition and in its original state. The metal mudguards, whose lights are broken, have been replaced with grey plastic mudguards, which make the bicycle lighter. Steel wheels.

The bike is a lovely colour and is in its original condition throughout. The front light is missing but will be refitted. There is a mark on the vertical handlebar tube with a very slight dent, but this does not cause any structural problems.

A large unisex bicycle in good condition and completely original. The frame has a few superficial chips. This ultra-lightweight bicycle is perfect for everyday use.

A bicycle in good condition with aluminium wheels. The Motoconfort emblem on the front is missing, and the steel crank has been replaced by an aluminium crank with a square spindle. A dynamo light has been fitted and secured to the mudguards.

The bicycle is in good condition and, apart from the more modern aluminium wheels, which were fitted by the previous and sole owner, is completely original. This bicycle has also been fitted with Bluemels mudguards.

The company „José Alvarez“, based in south-west France, operated until the late 1990s and manufactured high-quality bicycles. This particular model was probably assembled and sold by Kawoinch, a small bicycle manufacturer and retailer based in central France.

A very lightweight unisex bicycle with a Vitus frame, fitted with mudguards. It shows some superficial signs of rust.

A Raleigh bicycle in the brand’s iconic colours. The bicycle was purchased by its first owner, who fitted it with mudguards for everyday use.

The bike is in very good condition and completely original. It has been fitted with Bluemels mudguards, making it the perfect bike for stylish everyday use.

A bike in good condition with steel wheels, ideal for everyday use.

A road bike with a Columbus Gara frame and Shimano RSX groupset. A bike that was already „modern“ for its time, with gear shifters on the handlebars.

Lightweight ladies bike from the early 80s in good condition with complete original equipment.

A sporty bicycle with a frame made from rare Reynolds SMS tubes (which took two years to produce). The derailleur, which is too modern, is replaced with an original Huret derailleur. The front wheel, which has tubular tyres, is replaced with an aluminium wheel fitted with clincher tyres.

This Peugeot is completely original, although many parts are rusted due to poor storage conditions. The numerous rusted parts will be replaced as part of the restoration.

A sporty bicycle in good condition with 18 gears, fitted for everyday use with mudguards, a luggage rack and dual brake levers.

High-quality Motobecane bicycle, perfect for participating in a vintage Eroica-type cycle race. This bike is completely original with Stronglight cranks, Huret derailleurs and Dia Compe brakes.

A lovely bicycle in very good condition, which appears to have been modified by its previous owners. The tubular wheels have been replaced with aluminium wheels fitted with pneumatic tyres, and the Shimano 600 derailleurs have been replaced with Huret derailleurs, as in the original.

A bicycle in good visual condition, which has been reassembled using its original parts or suitable replacement parts, such as a Sachs-Huret derailleur and a Nervar or Solida crankset.

An extremely rare Peugeot high-end bicycle from the 1983 catalogue with a Vitus 979 aluminium frame. This example has the original drive and brake components, but other parts such as a Vitus 979 fork, original wheels or the seat tube are fitted to the bike to restore it as far as possible to its original condition.

Gitane bicycle in good condition and in its original state, with steel wheels.

A bicycle in very good condition with 21 gears (3 x 21), which has been retrofitted with gear levers on the handlebars.

Very nice Motobecane, completely original and well equipped. The aluminium wheels mounted on the bike are modern. Equipped with a very rare blue turbo saddle.

A very large Motobécane bicycle, fitted with a Shimano 600 groupset and a Columbus CrMo frame. This is an export model sold outside France.

The bike is in very good condition and completely original from 1974 (with the exception of the gear levers, which have been replaced). With its typical 1970s colour scheme, it is perfect for a cycling enthusiast who, for example, would like to take part in events such as the Eroica. Fitted with tubular tyres

„Les Cycles Meunier“ was a bicycle shop based in Bourges (central France) that assembled and customised bicycles to its customers’ specifications. This sporty unisex bicycle is in good condition and is fitted entirely with French components. The steel wheels currently fitted will be replaced with lighter aluminium ones, which are better suited to the bicycle’s sporty style.

A lovely bike in bright colours, very much in the style of the 1970s. It’s an original and in good condition, and thanks to its full range of fittings (mudguards, luggage rack and dynamo-powered lights), it’s the perfect companion for stylish everyday rides.

Unisex bicycle in good condition and completely original.

A high-quality road bike with a frame and fork made from Reynolds 531 tubing. It features a Sachs-Huret „New Success“ rear derailleur and crankset, as well as Modolo „Mach1“ brakes. The frame shows some superficial signs of rust.

A bike for everyday use. At the moment, it has a non-original handlebar fitted, which is far too wide and unsightly. As part of the restoration, a different handlebar will be fitted, one that suits the bike’s style much better.
