These bikes, which haven’t yet been prepared, are particularly worth considering if you’re looking for a specific make, a specific frame size or a specific style. Many of these bikes can be reserved in advance. Once you’ve made a reservation, the bike will be prepared for you and given a technical overhaul.
Availability may vary depending on the bike and where it is stored. Some bikes are already in Germany and can usually be prepared more quickly. Other bikes are still in storage in France and will only become available at a later date.
The advantage for you is that if you book early, you’ll have a wider choice and can secure a bike before it’s fully finished and available in the shop.

Joli Vélo’s range regularly includes vintage racing bikes from well-known European brands. Classic French manufacturers such as Peugeot, Motobécane, MBK, Mercier and Gitane are particularly in demand.
Peugeot vintage road bikes are popular for their classic French design, their steel frames and their long history in road cycling. Motobécane and MBK, on the other hand, offer a wide variety of sporty and everyday models from various decades. Mercier, Gitane and other brands are also known for their characterful bikes, each with their own distinctive style.
As our stock consists of one-off items, not every brand or frame size is always available. It’s therefore worth checking the shop regularly or discovering the bikes that haven’t yet been prepared.

Are the bikes ready to ride straight away?
Unless otherwise stated on the product page, the bicycles on offer are sold fully reconditioned, tested and ready to ride. You can find details of the specific work carried out and any parts that may have been replaced in the relevant product description.
What frame size do I need?
The right frame size depends on your height, inside leg measurement and preferred riding position. You’ll find some initial guidance on the product pages.
What happens if there isn't a suitable bike available?
As every vintage bike is one of a kind, a particular model can sell out quickly. If there isn’t a suitable bike available at the moment, you can have a look at the bikes that haven’t been prepared yet, or let me know which make, frame size or type of bike you’re looking for.
